Summer Miso Soup with Donabe
Okra is one of my favorite summer vegetables.
With the soup & stew donabe, "Miso-shiru Nabe", I made a simple miso soup with the sliced okra and ogo (Hawaiian) seaweed. Both ingredients were quickly blanced (and okura was sliced) before putting them to the soup at the serving.
The basic miso soup recipe can be found on toiro's website.
