Donabe Steamer cooking...Kurobuta Pork Wrapped Enoki Mushrooms

Our donabe steamer, "Mushi Nabe", cooks simple ingredients so delicious. I need just a short prep time and the donabe can do the rest of work.

For one evening, we got shabu shabu slice Kurobuta Pork. So, we made the pork wrap with enoki mushrooms. We also got lotus root, carrot and bean sprouts to steam together.

Once the water in the donabe started boiling, we first covered the steam grate with the bean sprouts. Then, we put the pork wrap, lotus root, and carrots.

After steaming over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, everything was ready. It smelled so wonderful.

We had them with the ponzu, grated daikon, and some other condiments such as shichimi peppers, ground sesame seeds, sliced scallion, and grated ginger.
