I've been eating a lot of rich food lately. So, I wanted to do something very light, yet satisfying for dinner on one night.
It's my detox hot pot with a lot of vegetables. I had different vegetables as well as some hanpen (light fluffy fish cake with egg white) and naruto fish cakes. I cooked them in the light dashi broth which was seasoned with some sake and light soy sauce. Mizuna was cooked in the last minute and sliced yuzu rinds were added for the aroma.
"Shime" (the end of the meal) was again, ramen, with a lot of ground white sesame seeds and sesame leaves.
My donabe dinner was so good. Gochisosama deshita.
