It was a beautiful day all day in Beaune today.
In the morning, we walked to Bouchard Pere et Fils in Beaune, where we had an appointment for the tour and tasting.
Bouchard is not only a large negociant, but also among the top domaines to own largest total Grand Cru and Premier Cru Vineyards. The domaine was established in 1731.
I wish I could write about all the tasting etc., but this is such a busy week with all the visits to different domaines. So, I will just post pictures I took. We tasted some wonderful wines including 2006 Corton Charlemagne, and I had a wonderful experiences in this visit.
After Bouchard, we went to a local cafe for a quick bite. I had roasted rabbit, and it was good.
I also walked around more and checked out more cheese, wine, etc., in the village.
In the afternoon, we toured Hospices de Beaune, which was built in the 15th century. It was amazing.
