We were invited to a dinner at friends' house last Sunday. There were 3 couples at dinner...I was so happy to see everybody before leaving for Japan the following day.
She is an amazing chef. We enjoyed the beautifully crafted delicious dish one after another. The menu included New Zealand yellowtail sashimi (and we made the "temaki" sushi hand rolls), zucchini carpaccio, foil-wrapped grilled salmon, braised fennel, sauteed kale, etc. Everything was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating.
