We planted a young yuzu tree in our yard a little over a year ago.
It didn't grow any fruits all last year, so I was a bit worried.
But, just this week, I found baby yuzu fruits on the branches!
They will be ready later this year, and we will be tasting our home-grown yuzu for the first time.
I can already picture cooking many donabe dishes featuring our yuzu this winter.
Until then...I will hold my breath.
