On Memorial Day, we did our first outdoor BBQ with our Santa Maria BBQ Grill.
It's been a while...I missed our beautiful grill. We love this very organic way of grilling. Mesquite charcoal was first lit.
We did Jamaican jerk chicken! We used a special spice blend from Jamaica. It was a gift from my dear friend. The ingredients are all natural and it's quite hot and spicy!
The aroma during grilling was so wonderful.
We also grilled some radicchio and tortillas.
Condiments were simple lemon wedges and my homemade avocado-sesame dipping sauce. I also made red quinoa and bean salad.
Great kick off of the BBQ season!
