Leftover shots...


Some izakaya-style dishes plus dessert I made last week...

Tai-snapper carpaccio, kabocha & kale "shira-ae"/ crab & grilled shiitake "oroshi-ae"/ sauteed kabu (Japanese turnip), mushrooms, with scallops (seasoned with yuzu salt)/ dry-aged rib-eye steak with wasabi and smoked soy sauce/ sake-steamed clams with cabbage/ miso-flavored kurobuta pork sauce over Chinese noodle/ octopus, broccoli, and avocado salad/ tori-soboro gohan (seasoned ground chicken over rice)/ sake-steamed chicken and edamame in sesame sauce/ chicken wings in soy-vinegar sauce/ yomogi (mugwort) mochi with homemade anko (azuki paste) filling.
