Welcome to Home of Donabe Cooking! This blog is about healthy Japanese and donabe (Japanese clay pot) cooking. I love my donabe life and I want to share the joy of donabe cooking with many other people. I also write about random food, wine, and travel experiences.

Back in Tokyo (February 2013)...Simple soba lunch
You can eat super fresh soba noodles practically anywhere in most areas in Japan.
Just one day in the neighborhood of my mom's house for lunch.
Humble soup soba with grated "yamato-imo" (very sticky mountain yam) and raw egg.
